Important poll

Cjok believes that his 70-7 blowout vs cal is ok and that no one should be banned from his performance which included his QB martens throwing for 6 td's and his rb McFadden running for 4. We will have a poll. The outcome of the poll will be the punishment Cjok gets. You have up till advance to vote!

Before you vote, please realize that I didn't ask for this poll. There was a decision made to suspend Martiens-QB for 1 game. While I wasn't thrilled with this, I went along. Even making a trade to get a qb for my next game.

Now the facts about the game in quesiton:

Everything was working in my offense, and the other player in question turned the ball over often and on his side of the field.

Martens only threw 20 passes all game. (90% of which in the first half)
McFadden ran the ball 21 times for 169 yds (75% of which in the second half)

The final two TD's of the game, I stoped my player at his 1 or 2 yard line, and was tackled into the end zone both times. I didn't want to attempt a dive down, because I didn't want to go in to the endzone. I know I should have stopped sooner in hind sight.

Also there is the fact that the other player in question has never complained about this game in anyway.

Had I been trying to really run it up, or gain a ton of XP my qb (whom is a rookie and needs xp) would have contined to slice up the defense in the second half. which he didn't only throwing a few passes.

Another fact is that this user in question has historicly had a horrid connection, causing continued lags, and some D/C's. I wanted to score enough early so that if a D/C happend, I wouldn't be forced to play another lag game.

I was not happy with the suspension of any player vs a human. But was content and accepting of the ruleing. I would have prefered my RB be suspended, but its not my decision.

Once again, I didn't request this poll. Feel free to look at all the stats available for the game, you can look at them on the newly aquired Madden Daddy for the league....

Everyone needs to realize that this is the first ever time in recorded CMPL, or PMS history that anyone has been suspended from a team who was playing vs a human player.

I was fine with the 1 game Martens suspension, losing my best two players to me seems excessive.

Regardless, this is a first.

yes no suspensions, because in PMS there is no rule against it.

Where as here there is a thread clearly pointing out it is not legal to do.

This is also like the first or second season the rule was there. The fact there needs to be a rule by itself is pretty ridiculous. It's common sense to most people not to put up 70+ and keep scoring while up almost 50 points.

And no, it isn't excessive. The fact you think it is means the penalty SHOULD be at LEAST that excessive so you and other owners that play this way get the message that the rule is trying to convey.
